GreenFlux offers one of the largest EV roaming networks in Europe, with over 651,000 EV charge points

Amsterdam, March 06, 2024: GreenFlux, an e-mobility platform provider, now offers access to one of the biggest electric vehicle (EV) roaming networks, with over 651,000 EV charge points (by the end of January 2024) spread across Europe.

The platform provider has come a long way, growing from 185,000 charge points in its roaming network at the end of 2021. The smart charging pioneer, part of the DKV Mobility group, crossed the 500K mark in June last year, meaning on average around 20.000 EV charge points were added per month since then.

In 2023, GreenFlux added more than 40 partners to its roaming network. Recently, it announced access to over 10,000 Tesla Superchargers for its eMSP customer, DKV Mobility’s drivers. In addition, the company announced a roaming partnership allowing access to high-performance EV charge points from Milence. These charge points, with up to 400 kW of charging power, are suitable for heavy-duty vehicles.

GreenFlux is committed to accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility and is consistently expanding its Europe-wide charging network to make charging as convenient as possible. At present, GreenFlux's roaming network has almost 100% network coverage in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium and is fast expanding along the other most important traffic routes across Europe.

It is a great milestone, not just for us but for the eMobility industry. Each of GreenFlux’s platform customers can now seamlessly access over 651,000 charge points via their existing e-mobility apps and charge cards. This is a huge step forward in our mission to achieve sustainable road transport by providing efficient and reliable charging solutions. — Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director at GreenFlux.

‘We are proud that we could help our customers offer a smooth charging experience at all types of service locations, including high-powered charge points for eTrucks,' he added.

In addition to roaming, GreenFlux’s platform customers leverage its white-label apps and APIs to monetise their unique business models and deliver outstanding charging experiences.

About EV Roaming

Roaming enables EV drivers to charge outside of their immediate network, in different locations, using their existing e-mobility apps and charge card services, or using any other payment method. The fear of not being able to do so is what gives them anxiety. GreenFlux’s mission is to eliminate this very concern by offering an extensive roaming network to the EV drivers of our CPO and EMSP customers. In addition, while contributing towards improving the EV charging infrastructure, EV roaming enables new revenue streams for CPOs and helps them stay ahead of the curve in the industry. With GreenFlux’s roaming-as-a-service model, both its CPO and EMSP partners can offer leading roaming coverage under their own brands, pricing, and propositions. Plus, they can monetise their business quickly and effectively and scale operations.
