GreenFlux, a pioneering provider of EV charging management software and EV roaming services, and Energie Steiermark, one of the largest energy and energy services provider in Austria, have partnered to expand their electric vehicle (EV) roaming offering.
With the partnership, Energie Steiermark’s charge card and app users get access to one of the largest European EV roaming networks as the GreenFlux network surpassed the 1.2 million charge points mark early 2026. As a result, the energy supplier’s customers can seamlessly charge their electric vehicles when travelling in Austria and abroad, greatly alleviating concerns about range anxiety for both fleet operators and private EV drivers.
Similarly, GreenFlux adds over 1,250 Energie Steiermark charge points—with many located in the Styria (Steiermark) region—to its roaming network, making charging in Austria even more accessible. More than half of the connected stations are fast-charging locations with an output of up to 150 kW.
‘Energie Steiermark has a strong presence in Austria as one of the largest energy and service companies in the country. A company known for its exclusive reliability on renewable energy means we are a perfect match,’ said Freerik Meeuwes, Director Sales & Operations at GreenFlux. ‘Our roaming network continues to expand across the DACH region, an important market for us. In Austria alone, we offer more than 36,000 charge points through our network.’
