Q-Park Netherlands chooses GreenFlux for its EV charging management platform

Car charging at Q-Park Netherlands with GreenFlux back-end

Q-Park Netherlands, a leading off-street parking infrastructure owner and operator, and GreenFlux, a pioneering EV charging platform provider in Europe, have teamed up to advance Q-Park’s EV charging operations.

With the deal, GreenFlux supports the migration of 1,700 Q-Park EVSEs (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) to the GreenFlux back end. Q-Park Netherlands chose the GreenFlux EV charging management platform due to its advanced multi-level smart-charging solutions and various Charge Point Management System (CPMS) options that will help Q-Park manage and optimise its charging points.

Shared values and regional focus

The deal between Q-Park and GreenFlux is rational in many ways. Both companies were founded in the Netherlands and primarily focus on the European market—with activities in core markets like Germany, France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Also, both companies value and offer high-quality, smart eMobility solutions with a strong sustainability commitment.

‘We are thrilled to see that the Q-Park partnership has been finalised. With the deal, we further expand our presence in the European commercial parking space.' Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director at GreenFlux

GreenFlux has a strong foothold in the European commercial parking industry as the top European players in the industry, including Q-Park, use its EV charging management platform.

To start operating the charge points in the new back end, GreenFlux had to migrate the Q-Park charge points from its Shell Recharge back end. As it was a complex migration, Q-Park and GreenFlux would like to thank Shell Recharge for its commitment and support to make this back-end migration a success.

‘We are thrilled to see that the Q-Park partnership has been finalised. With the deal, we further expand our presence in the European commercial parking space,’ Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director at GreenFlux, highlights. ‘Q-Park is a well-known parking and mobility brand and has an outstanding reputation. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to drive the future of commercial parking as we now serve the top commercial parking operators in Europe.’

’EV charging is increasingly important for Q-Park as our customers expect to be able to charge while parking. The collaboration with GreenFlux provides us with more flexibility and control, allowing us to facilitate our growth ambitions,’ explains Michiel Tenge, Managing Director at Q-Park Netherlands. ‘EV charging is part of our proposition to make cities liveable and accessible.’
