ENGIE Vianeo, the electric vehicle (EV) charging business of the ENGIE Group, has selected GreenFlux’s EV-charging management platform as their back-end solution for its pan-European charge point operator (CPO) and eMobility services business.
In 2023, Energy company ENGIE Group launched a new subsidiary, called ENGIE Vianeo, dedicated to providing charging solutions for EVs. The CPO’s expertise spans fast and ultra-fast charging stations powered by 100% green electricity, catering to both passenger and heavy-duty vehicles.
ENGIE Vianeo aims to have 25,000 charge points serving electric cars and heavy commercial vehicles in Europe up and running by 2030. And, in the near future, the operator plans to expand in Europe. To overcome the challenges accompanying managing a large, dispersed network, ENGIE Vianeo selected the GreenFlux all-in-one platform to manage its CPO operations and eMSP services.
‘As EV charging is entering the age of mass adoption, ambitious CPOs such as ENGIE Vianeo need to make tough choices about their operations to square their hyper-growth with operational excellence. That’s what we recently did by migrating the supervision of our charging points to a new GreenFlux-powered charge point management system (CPMS),’ said Didier Liautaud, CEO at ENGIE Vianeo.
ENGIE Vianeo is committed to helping reduce CO2 emissions from road transport. It does so by encouraging the transition to more environmentally friendly mobility while guaranteeing a high level of service to its customers. GreenFlux’s mature platform stood out as the perfect solution for ENGIE Vianeo to conduct a large-scale migration of charge points with minimal impact on customers.
'We found in GreenFlux a top-notch partner to assist our teams—through their technology, expertise, and a keen ear to our needs. The GreenFlux team fully supported us with a smooth migration of the thousands of charging points our customers depend on.’ Didier Liautaud, CEO at ENGIE Vianeo
‘A migration like this is full of complexities: it involves field operatives, call centres, roaming partners, and many others. It can be a daunting task. We found in GreenFlux a top-notch partner to assist our teams—through their technology, expertise, and a keen ear to our needs. The GreenFlux team fully supported us with a smooth migration of the thousands of charging points our customers depend on,’ added Didier.
With GreenFlux’s solutions, ENGIE Vianeo gains access to expertise and all the required tools to operate a reliable and efficient public charging network and offer smooth services to customers. Apart from the CPO and eMSP services, GreenFlux also offers reliable customer service and expert EV-charging knowledge dating back to over a decade.
