The GreenFlux Charge Assist team has been working for quite some time to help our CPO and EMSP customers offer a smooth charging experience to their EV drivers. We are planning to improve and get better with new features and updates every month.
In February 2024, we improved the map view through optimised clustering of the charge locations, enhanced the payment method display for more transparency, and provided an option to share feedback. Keep reading for more details.
Optimised clustered locations in the map view
Remember that you zoomed out a bit too much in Charge Assist and instantly received the notification, "Zoom in to see results"? This is no longer the case. The app now supports clustered locations in the map, allowing you to zoom out and still see charge locations. When there are multiple charge locations on the same geo-coordinates, the app will clearly show this by a horizontal swipe where you can see the multiple locations.
Improved display for payment methods
You can now find a detailed and transparent view of your payment methods in Charge Assist. The app will provide clear information about the beginning, expiration, and validity of your payment methods.
Rate your charging session
After each charging session, you can provide 1- to 5-star rating feedback in the app. Once you share the rating, Charge Assist will ask you for additional, yet optional, feedback. If you are a CPO customer, we will then share this feedback with you to help offer a better, improved charging experience to your drivers.
Rate Charge Assist and help us improve
Not just your charging session, but now you can also rate and provide feedback about Charge Assist. The app will regularly ask for feedback to help us continuously improve your experience. After you have used Charge Assist for some time, it will give you a pop-up asking for feedback. You can give an app store rating, direct feedback to the app team, postpone the message, or ignore it completely (though please don’t).
Other improvements and bug fixes
You can now re-order the list of payment methods by dragging and dropping in that section. This order will be used to show tariffs and start a session on the location details screen.
In addition, the map is now clickable from the session details page and can also bring you back to that same charging point. This allows you to easily go back to a location you have charged before. Some other updates include:
- Improved flow of the map when you have not given location permissions.
- Only retail tariffs are now presented. Previously, we showed only the wholesale tariffs.
- Bug fix: active session data was not automatically refreshed.
- Bug fix: duplication of tariffs shown in "tariffs for the next 24 hours."
